Tommy will be sadly missed. My abiding memory of Tommy will always be when he got up and sang at Peter Grant's testimonial entertainment night at the Kings theatre Glasgow. Tommy knew he was about to be sacked by Fergus McCann who was also in the audience. Tommy sang I believe the children are the future. One of the lines in that song is "if I fail if I succeed they can't take away my dignity" - The roof nearly lifted off the Kings and Fergus knew we was singing right at him. God bless Tommy.
