Just wanted to pay my respects to Tommy and his family. I grew up always knowing who Tommy was and feel as if I knew him well. A more genuine guy you couldnt have met and he was a tribute to Scottish Football.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tommy once and he was very down to earth. For a good honest man to be taken so young is heartbreaking because he still had so much to offer Scottish Football. My thoughts are with his family at this very sad time....

I am a Rangers fan who was gutted last night after the final whistle. Today it no longer matters as the sad news re Tommy Burns puts everything into perspective.
